South Africa, January 12, 2021 It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Dolly Mokgatle, Chairperson of the Total South Africa Board, and convey our sincere condolences to her family members and loved ones. We pay tribute to her role at Total South Africa, remembering her as an advocate for matters in our country.

We commemorate her legacy as an authentic leader who humbled us with her presence during her longstanding tenure as a businesswoman and a member of numerous boards of local and international companies. Her wealth of experience in energy-related matters also saw her appointment as the Deputy Chairperson of the National Energy Regulator of South Africa.

Dolly was a prominent advocate for the empowerment and development of young leaders, women in particular, and her endeavors  to share her time and experience with those she connected with was exemplary.

Her accolades are as momentous as her dedication to making a positive impact and she will be remembered for offering her presence, guidance, and empowerment. She led by example and has undoubtedly paved the way for the future success of the next generation of female leaders.

While we grieve her loss as a country and as the TotalEnergies community, we have comfort in knowing that her legacy continues to have an impact on our industry, and we will forever be grateful for her contribution. May we continue to embody her incredible energy and passion to do good, through our efforts.
