Background Information

TOTAL Lesotho (Pty) Ltd was registered in Lesotho in 1983 and managed from then Free State Region. Fuel deliveries was made from Clocolan to various consumers and retail customers. Currently fuel is sourced by rail from Bethlehem to our state-of-the-art depot facility in the capital Maseru.

Ninety nine per cent of all our deliveries are carried out from our main depot in Maseru. They're few customers that are served directly from our Bethlehem depot facility in the north because of economic considerations.

In 1987 the Maseru depot was opened in the industrial area in Maseru. Old Caltex depot). TOTAL Lesotho has office facilities which are adjacent to the depot that serve as a regional office that house the Managing Director, Sales Manager and Administration Supervisor.

The retail network is at its infancy but plans are underway to up this market in the next five years. There are 4 branded filling stations in Lesotho.  In addition to the retail network, there are several general dealers around the country that TOTAL Lesotho has grown from very early days.
